  • Agenda

The preparations for the 5th conference are not over yet, but the agenda is full. This year we will have many new speakers and I can guarantee that there will be even more next year in Philadelphia.

If you have materials to present, please, register ahead of time because we plan to get the agenda finalized several months in advance.
    Respectfully,
    Boris

Taking in consideration that we are having so many requests for presentations, I think that it will be better to have
    1. mandatory abstract submission
    2. poster presentation option and
    3. early deadlines (no later then May 1st)

Preparations for the 6th conference had started. We had a 1.5 hour joint RAMA and RADA Boards meeting on Saturday and (among other things) discussed the deadlines for the conference preparation. We will try to learn from our mistakes.
      Respectfully,
      Boris

I think that good agenda is one of the most important parameters in attracting people to the conference. With the agenda like we have in Chicago we are just as good as any other purely medical American conference. We should start working on the 2008 Agenda right now and get it done by April 1st, so we can let everyone (presenters, participants, advertisers etc.) know well ahead of time.
        Respectfully,
        Boris

          Agree 110%.

BUT - for the agenda to be ready April 1st we will have to have call for proposals NOW with the deadline at least March 1st, and poster presentation deadline no later then May 1st (let's be fair for some habituate procrastinators and give them the second chance :razz. Later poster deadline would benefit students and resinets too, as many are finishing their research by that time.

Early agenda will also increase chances of getting better support from the industry.

                              1. Talahassee-Krasnodar Sister City Project (TKSCP) is interested in cooperation with us and may come to Boston. They want to sign a cooperation agreement with RAMA. They also want to create a list of ALL groups Russian and American that do charitable work in Russia.

                              2. I hope Dr. Khavkin will talk about his experience in Russia during his trip to Krasnodar and Moscow.
